This is my
ninth year teaching at St. Therese.
Oct.
1999-2000: Grades 5 and 6
2000-Present:
Grades 3 and 4
Before St.
Therese, I worked with infants at KinderCare from 1993-1998.
From June
1998-October 1999 I was a nanny for a family in Geneva, IL. |
We have really great students and parents
here at St. Therese. The students are cooperative, caring, respectful,
and eager to learn. The parents are wonderful. They are always willing
to work together with the teachers to help their children to succeed.
I like that everyone knows everyone else - it is like one big happy
family here. I enjoy having a small class because it allows me to
really get to know the students and recognize their needs as well as
their strengths. Most of all, I enjoy being able to share my faith with
the children. It is nice to be able to talk about God, not only in
religion class, but in other subjects as well. |
I enjoy spending time with my 2 year old
daughter, Angelena. I also enjoy reading books and listening to audio
books, especially mysteries and books about lawyers and detectives. I
love to scrapbook (when I have time!). I like to watch movies,
especially mysteries. I love to play board games.
My favorite movies are The Notebook, E.T.,
and Sweet Home Alabama.
My favorite song is "Time for Me to Fly" (Reo
Speedwagon)
I enjoy listening to music, especially The
Beatles and The Doors
I love cats and kittens.
I have a HUGE phobia of bugs and spiders
.
I love teaching and decided I wanted to be
a teacher when I was in kindergarten.
